Valentine’s Day 2017 Gift Guide

valentines-gift-guide

Looking for inspiration on what to get the ones you love this Valentine’s Day? This post has three gifts ideas to get you started And if that’s not enough, check out my sister’s post on Catching up with Claire Elizabeth for even more gift ideas.

A Sentimental Gift

This gift, albeit a bit cheesy, has a ton of sentimental value.  A heart-shaped photo holder from Paper Source with a couple of your favorite photos has a great Valentine’s Day feel, but is subtle enough to leave out all year round.  I’ve also included in this gift a “Love Lock.” This lock from Urban Outfitters includes a spot for you and your love to write your names, a key to attach the lock to significant place, and then you can throw the key away to signify your eternal love.

A Luxurious Gift

Jewelry always has a luxurious, loving feel as a gift for any holiday.  For this year, I’ve gotten my favorite guy a new MVMT watch that I purchased from Nordstrom.  This watch is casual and stylish to wear every day, but sleek enough to wear out in the evenings.  I love the contrast of the gun metal grey face, beige band, and baby blue hands.

A Classic Gift

Going for a tried and true classic is always a safe bet, and would could be more classic for Valentine’s Day then truffles and champagne.  This is a great gift for your significant other, your best friend, or a family member.  I hand made some peanut butter, chocolate chip cookie dough truffles based on a recipe I found on Pinterest, decorated them with light pink candy melts, and placed them in red takeout boxes decorated with some heart shaped stickers.  Pair it with a sparkling Rose, and you have a fool proof gift for anyone.
