May 2017 Favorites

This week, I’m sharing some of the things I’ve been loving the most over the last month, from skin care to decor!

In the month of May, I took a huge focus on skincare.  I have pretty problematic skin and tend to break out especially when my diet isn’t as healthy as it should be.  Even with a great diet, lots of water, and exercise, my skin usually still needs an extra bit of help and I’ve started using a couple of things this month that have made a huge difference.  The first item is the Sunday Riley Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner.  I’ve been using it twice a day, right after washing my face, and it’s helped control the oil on my face and clear up any blemishes that are starting to appear. I would highly recommend this to anyone dealing with the occasional break out or trying to control any oily patches.

I’ve started taking the Flawless Complexion vitamins from Olly.  I’ve been a big fan of Olly vitamins for a while know, but had never tried this kind until a few weeks ago.  Between these and the new toner, I’ve seen a big improvement in my skin, it’s clearer and more evenly toned.

On the beauty side of things, I can’t stop using my Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Collection Palette.  I know I’m a bit late to the game on this one, the Sweet Peach line has been out for awhile, but I’ve finally gotten my hands on this palette and I never want to put it down.  The colors are super pigmented, blend really easily, it last all day, and it smells of peaches!  The colors generally are on the more pink/peach side, which makes it so fresh and girly, especially for this time of year.

If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen this post of my new letter board from LoveLetterGoods on Etsy. I’ve been having so much thinking of fun sayings, mantras, and celebratory messages to throw onto this board.  It’s making a great new addition to my new home.

Lastly, my go-to accessory in May has been this pineapple faced watch from Asos (unfortunately, it’s out of stock, but they have in stock this equally cute watermelon watch).  I’m absolutely in love with the look of pineapples, so when I saw this watch I had to have it.  It’s sleek and simple enough to wear with just about anything, but is a fun, quirky accessory to really make any outfit a bit more fun.

What have you been loving the most over the last month? Let me know in the comments so I can give it a try too!
