Layering for the Weekend

We’re post-Labor Day, which means it’s Autumn in my mind, which really means I can’t stop buying pumpkins, craving farmers markets, home baked treats, and adding fun layers to my outfits. This last weekend I needed to run some errands and it was such a beautiful, September morning.  Warm sun, cool breeze, not a cloud in the sky… Perfect t-shirt, jacket, and sneaker weather, giving me the perfect excuse to wear a couple new pieces I recently purchased from Old Navy.

I was very recently re-introduced to Old Navy, and fell head-over-heels in love.  I’d honestly forgotten how full of fun, updated classics it is at super reasonable prices.  I think my two favorite purchases are this yep! t-shirt and camo jacket.  Striped t-shirts are such a staple in my wardrobe, and I’m so excited to add this quirkier one to my collection.

Now to this camo jacket.  I’m so happy I’m seeing camo in stores again this fall.  The trend started to pick up speed last Autumn/Winter and I seriously considered purchasing a jacket then, didn’t commit to it, and had some serious regrets.  The second I saw this jacket in the store I knew I wasn’t leaving with out it.  It elevates every outfit I’ve worn it with, and even though it may be a bolder statement piece, it can be treated like a neutral that pairs well with tons of things. It’s a print that mixes well with others, and the olive tones will match pretty much everything in my Fall wardrobe.

This combo is definitely going to be my go-to weekend outfit for this Fall.  Let me know what your weekend go-to’s are for this year! I’d love to know so I can add your loves to my favorites list too!
